EMILY-  She is Margot’s daughter, and a wife and mother herself. After her father passed away leaving her mom a widow, she has taken on the role of caretaker, with her perfunctory check-ins and visits. When she notices a change in her mother’s behavior, and more specifically her finances, she becomes worried her mother can’t take care of herself anymore. It is a complete shock when she learns her mother’s newfound lease on life has led her to trial, charged with multiple crimes.
